Do you ever feel like your life is so hard because of how bored you get of pairing everything with black tights once it gets cold out? I sure do. I tend to think of colored tights as being a bit too whimsical and/or precious for me, but I saw this red tights/red shoes combo in a recent issue of Lucky Magazine, and since I do whatever they say, I decided to try it out with a shimmery Ya Los Angeles party dress. It’s the kind of thing that sounds offensive on paper, but in practice, I was actually a big fan. Your legs and feet may be fire-engine red, but the fact that you kept it monochromatic will create the same leg elooooongating effect as the standard black tights/black shoes combo. Add your furry jacket and sequin clutch, and I think something like this would be cute for one of those office holiday drinking events that are sure to come up in your immediate future!

Shoes - Mine are from Madewell, but you could get try Madison Harding, Kimchi Blue, or these hot Zara ones that I forced myself to walk away from in the store one day but now I see this girl wearing them on the train in the morning like once a week and it makes me have a shoe-jealousy.
